FRANK ABOUT WOMEN

FACT: According to Nielsen, women will control two-thirds of consumer wealth in the next decade.

Frank About Women is the marketing-to-women consultancy within MullenLowe. I love to write, so while working at MullenLowe Winston-Salem (and even after I left to go to grad school), I jumped at the opportunity to contribute to Frank About Women. I have written four articles on cultural topics that impact women and tied them back to how brands can effectively speak to this powerful group.

"ARE YOU MARRIED YET?" - GREAT EXPECTATIONS FOR WOMEN (2017)

What are the expectations and pressures that women face each day? How can brands and individuals show more empathy and authentically speak to women without heightening these great expectations?

BITE-SIZED CONTENT (2016)

As technology progresses, the way we consume media continues to change. In addition to writing this Frank Flash, I wrote, fielded, and analyzed a survey to better understand our news consumption habits and what it means for brands.

THE YEAR OF MINDY: SMART, Sassy, AND SOPHISTICATED ARE IN (2015)

Since I'm a big fan of Mindy Kaling (and other strong, female role models), this Frank Flash was my favorite to write. In 2015, Mindy made an appearance in a Super Bowl spot, which is what originally prompted this writing.

THE BEAUTY EVOLUTION (2014)

How has beauty changed over time? How have brands helped redefine what it means to be beautiful? In my first Frank Flash, I connected several campaigns, articles, and stats to show how beauty has evolved.
